Hey...Hope I will like this blogging idea. Let me start then
Yesterday at work we got on the subject of men..(Men are always our topic lol)
I posed a question would you go with a guy for love or money???? If he was poor and would show you love would you marry him?? Or would you go for the guy who could give you everything in life you ask???? I was amazed at the responses...Every single woman said MONEY.....they said you can fall in love later......What ever happened to love?? Do I live in a unrealistic world?? I was the only one who said love...LOL

Hello cja1lovely. Your blog is refreshing. this is also my first blog. Try this idea on for size. Love is an immensely misunderstood state of mind. There are those that think money, security etc, is the right basis for love. There are those who think that money, security etc, does not matter as a basis for love. They are both right - and they are both wrong! True love has nothing to do with money, material possesions or any thing else in the physical world. True love is a journey with a friend. A journey of sharing all emotions, all feelings, all hopes and expectations without reservation. The journey of true love is not an easy one. It requires constant work. In most relationships, falling in love is more likely to be falling in lust. True love comes after. It can only come from absolute truth and honesty with oneself and with one's partner. When it does come, and it will, treasure it as it will be truely unique to you and your partner. True love does not come from money. It comes from two truthful hearts. My advice for you, for whatever it is worth, is simply this: Don,t look for love. You will not find it! If you stay true to who you are and everything that makes you the unique individual that you are, true love will find you and when it does, you will certainly know it! I wish you a very happy journey.

well, thats a great subject for debate. I'm not sure if the "love" only aspect will will get you through life on its own? i'm not sitting on the fence here but the other important things in life like money, stability, friendship have all got to be part of the whole "love thing". it would be great if you could live only on the the physical and emotional apsects of "love", but that only happens in fiction doesnt it?
you arent living in a dreamworld you just havent met the right man who can bring all these things together for you! if youre interested in chatting more i'd love to do this with you!

Speaking from experience i.e. a man with no money as the CSA pretty much gobble up most of it up, I would have to agree that love seems to be secondary not only to money but a few other things too.
A sad yet very real reflection on todays society, I guess I should have been born in 1873 not 1973........nope actually even then if you refer to bronte classics it was still money that counted.............DOOOOOOOOOMED !

Depends what's important to you! Money didn't help Howard Hughes, Elvis Presley, and many others who were deeply unhappy. Can anyone actually give you everything you want? Then what?!
