What do you like to do on a first date (talking about merseyside area folks), did you first meet socially and then take it from there ?

So here I am, joining a dating site for the first time ever. Always been a crazy concept to me as I have always been quite outgoing and able to meet people.
I have now started to realise that I have not always been meeting the right people, often meeting them when drunk meaning your just not yourself and dont feel you actually know them enough to start with.
So here I am, why not send me a message and lets get to know each other, you never know, we just might end up meeting...
