Having just spoken to several ladies on this site and I am amazed and I have to say, disgusted at the way in which some of the men have made crude remarks and innuendos toward them. It makes me ashamed to hear that they stoop to such levels. I count myself lucky that my own parents brought me up to respect a lady (my father would have beaten me senseless if he even suspected I had behaved in such an improper way.) Their actions towards the fairer [censored], only serves to make women wary of contact from genuine responders. Come on you guys, clean up your smutty act. (I refuse to use the word gentlemen as clearly they are demonstrating that they are not worthy of that title). I am not a prude, I work in the Construction Industry so you can imagine what gets said, but there is a line you don't cross.

Yes I am another person who walks away from any foul and degrading language - from both sexes unfortunately. They appear to dig their own holes due to ignorance or lack of understanding

Unfortunately the guys who make approaches like those referred to don't, won't or can't read either the blogs or the forum posts (which are probably a better place to vent your spleen).
My GF, whom I met through the forum, has had approaches which she feels obliged to ignore. There is, unfortunately, little else you can do other than report the profile - and that rarely gets a response from DTUK.
I have found the forums to be the best way of getting to know people as you can read between the lines of their less-guarded comments.
There are still one or two cretins there too, though. What can you do?

I have to agree with your words sir.i am a decent fella and have had a fair bit of mail from ladies regarding these issues! I too was brought up in a home where manners and consideration were taught, and i think its sadly lacking today.

yes you are right it is very common. not nice but there are genuine ones on here who are polite and for the ones that are not there are other sites for what they are looking for!
