I had met him before, recognised his picture on here, we emailed each other everyday, we had so much in common, both lost our partners on the same day, so many coincidents. Our emails got longer, a kiss at the end of them all, then we arranged a date.
He came to collect me, drove me to the retaurant, nice meal, bottle of wine, i offered to pay for mine but no. such a nice man, we could get on so well, good friends, he drove me home, came in, coffee, then left, gave me a kiss on the cheek and a hug. lovely man.
We email each night, then it went down to him emailing me just every other night now its every 2 nights. Six weeks have passed, no mention of another date.
so dissapointed, what did i do wrong, does he think im fat, am i ugly, my confidence falls, i feel depressed.
What should i do now, ive dropped hints about seeing each other again, but no, is he seeing other women from here.
Dont know what to do, think I will give up.

Thankyou for your replies. He still sends emails and I reply each evening though he is starting to miss some days here and there. He said no other women have contacted him just older ones.
I dont think he will ask me out again.He probably thought i was too big . But he said he was 5 ft 6 ins same as me but he was a lot shorter. his pictures show black hair but his hair is white and one of the pictures is 14 years old.
think i will stop emailing him and give up on him!!!!

I have learnt from experience - don't put all your eggs in one basket!
Perhaps as much he is a nice guy - he may be seeing wot else is around or he
could just be scared to get invloved or busy! It becomes a guessing game unles u ask him outright.
But don't study him it's his loss - u r far more important and there will b other
nice men to chat to or go out with.
