Sarcasm

Hey all! I'm new to this Blog thing but just wanted to get some thoughts from ya'll!

Sarcasm... Is it an attractive quality to admit from the get go??

I'm searching through these profiles and all I see is this word like it's something to be proud of! Sure, Sarcasm has it's place, but come on now what are you trying to say "You're hard work?" - why would any self respecting man/woman even want to go any further and email you if they know what to expect? - and don't say because "I'm a challenge, you have to work to get me" - The issue isn't that you are a challenge, it is that you don't want people to think they can take advantage of you either in person or on the internet! Wouldn't it be better to get people interested in you (looking at your profiles and sending emails) so you have more options to choose from, then build rapport and set your boundary's as to how you want to be treated?

Makes sense to me!

Think about it... You go out on a fri/sat night to your fave bar, you're dressed to the nines, confidence is overflowing, so you take matters into your own hands and decide to approach a guy/girl, you say your piece and the target asks "Is that all you got?" How would you feel? then he/she follows up with "I'm only joking, I can be a sarcastic so an so" - First impressions count people! The principal is the same on the net, wouldn't you agree? - The above happens every weekend for somepeople and I bet they think even trying to find someone on the net is hard!!
